About the course

The course is intended for those who need to become familiar with SQL in general, or Microsoft SQL Server 7’s SQL in particular. This is an excellent foundation for anyone intending to become a developer, a database administrator or a ‘power’ end user, writing their own queries and reports. BusinessObjects managers will also find the training essential. Transact SQL in version 2000 is almost identical to that in version 7, and delegates from sites running either version will get full benefit from the training.

Prerequisites

The course is suitable for those with little or no knowledge of SQL or SQL Server 7. Delegates should feel confident inputting commands into a computer and accessing files on the filing system. You should feel comfortable learning what is in effect a programming language, but one that is easy to understand. The training is workshop based, so be prepared to address simple business problems and work out how to implement them programmatically.

The rest, we teach you on the course.
